Where to begin... So the Battanians get into their fateful war with Vlaandians, but the western empire declared war upon their new Vlaandian neighbors. The western empire and the battanians pushed back the Vlaandians, but then the Aserai attacked the Western Empire. The Vlaandians made peace with the Battanians to focus their efforts on the western empire, and though the Battanians were doing well on their own, the Sturgians declared war on them. Battanians lose Flintolg castle but gain the Kranirog and Mazhadan castles, and then they claim Sturgia-owned Epicrotea during the Sturgian's battle against the Western Empire. The Khuzait declare war on the Sturgians and claim Tyal from them, so the Sturgians make peace with the Battanians to focus on the Khuzait. The western empire loses ground to both the Aserai and the Vlaandians, so they are forced to make peace with the Vlaandians. I can't afford an expensive PC and I absolutely love everything about Mount and Blade.
I used to play the old Total Wars and was addicted to that series, and I always asked myself "imagine if you there was a game where you could fight in those battles with your troops."
When Warband came to console I didn't even care how dated it was, I went on about a month and a half binge. I'm really hoping they bring it to consoles, but at the same time not limit the game because of it. I know that would suck for you PC players out there. I wouldn't even care if they took features out for the console version, just so I could play this brilliant games sequel.
