Can Warrider be considered canon to Mount and blade lore?

So the very first mount and blade version ever is set in 1357.

King harlus is now a claimaint to the only 2 factions in the game, the Swadians and the Vaegirs.

Magic suddenly happened between 1257 and 1357.

I could go deeper but the wiki has more info.
