Just came back to bannerlord 1.3 something after two years

And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]

The biggest obstacle in the game

Stairs. They slow you down significantly just like a hill, with the added bonus of stopping your horse, which makes finding the guild master particularly difficult. It's also a pain in taverns (Uxkal specifically) when it takes 15 minutes to find the ransom broker (if he is even there). Every time I go into Uxkal's tavern, I set attacks to "relative enemy position" so the arrows show me if there's anyone upstairs. I'd rather try to climb a ladder in a siege with 400 rhodok sergeants set to "charge" than climb to the 3rd floor of a tavern to find a book merchant. Abolish stairs

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
