Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. How to train companions effectively?

So I was wondering how to train them the most effective way. The way I do it now is to just group them together and let them stay at the spawn of the battlefield so they don't get knocked out. Is there any way to avoid this or does it just happen in their early levels?
