Hey folks! Question about War Sails.

I’m still a new player at Mount & Blade. My friend has the PS+ catalogue so I gave Warband a shot and liked it, I’ll be sure to play it on PC! I’m interested in buying War Sails. Can I load my game from 1.5.2 or is it not safe/stable? 300 days and don’t want it to go to waste

It was a Khuzait campaign and I was given a lot of fiefs. Don’t want it to go to waste tho. So what kind of problems would I face in reloading and playing it now that it’s 1.5.3?
