And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]
So I don't know if this has ever been mentioned... but I was just moseying along on my campaign with an army of around 1k in enemy territory, when I came across a clash between 2 kings armies of 1.5k troops each, to which were both enemy kingdoms
I had never been in a situation where a large scale 3 way battle was even possible, until today... and boy did I wish it was possible to have a 3 way battle. It would have been so incredible to decide the fate of the 3 most powerful realms by battling with all of the strongest vassals on the map at the same time, with death turned on, it would have been quite a devastating battle.. There must have been 30 vassals there fighting for the survival of their kingdom. 2k+ max tier units..
Instead... I pressed 3 and parked my butt next to them until the battle was finished, watching the numbers go down, only to sneeze on the victor and capture everyone. Strategically, it was a better move, but a whole lot less epic. Wishing the epic battle of a lifetime was a possibility!
