No companions anywhere?

So I just started playing again after a very long break (old PC wasnt good enough to properly run the game), and I've started a new Khuzait campaign. Well, I'm working through the "establish your clan" quest, and I have completed all requirements except the "hire a companion" step. This is because I have now been running around for almost an hour trying to find a follower, but there aren't any in any settlements. Did they change the companion system since the last time I played, or is this a bug? Or maybe I'm just dumb?

Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features.
