Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. How do I install the mod configuration menu?

I manually download the newest version, place it into Vortex, launch the launcher from Vortex, but when I go to the mods section it is grayed out and I can't check it. I unzip it and put it into the bannerlord modules folder and the same thing happens when I launch it from Steam
