Best tactic for fights

I used to play warband a lot and finished with the whole map in my kingdom but this game is a lot harder i think. On my first attemt i played on easy but this got boring pretty fast caus i could win wars against enemies 3x the size of my army. So i play on realistic so equal damage to enemy troops and my troops. Now i needed to go much deeper into tactics. I always used to have about 50% infantry 30%arrows and 20%cav with the infantry in front the arrows a few meter behind them or on a hill behind them so they can shoot over the infantry. But i always see the bot enemies forming a circle with their infantry and the arrows inside. But i feel like this is not usefull cuas they shoot less becaus they block each other. Maybe thats not true but thats what i noticed.

So how do you guys fight. Are you constantly replacing your troops or how do you command them efficient. Is your cav on follow me or do you just let them charge?

Edit: I know there are many discussions like this already but Im curious if patches changed your tactics.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
