Maybe a dumb question (mods) and the future

Strikes me that this game is pretty unplayable without some key mods, whereas other mods just make it straight up more fun.

So like, why doesn’t Taleworlds just incorporate some of the more popular and logical mods into the damn core game? (Diplomacy I’m lookin at you?)
