Do Sharpened Edge and Sharpened Tip work with weapons you crafted when you didn't have the perk?

I'm assuming so because the weapon stats aren't better if you craft while one of the perks are active but maybe there's a hidden trait applied to the weapon. 2% doesn't really matter but I'm just a curious smith.
