Calradia in this playthrough so far

its been a hot min since this playthrough started, Vlandia and the Southern empire (tho the Southern empire has been holding on there for ages now) both are just a city and a castle now with two empires on each side of the map haha submitted by /u/Hella-Lis [link] [comments]

New Giant Landmasses from Ortysia and Quyaz

They added two giant land masses that cut off the coastal cruise from Gaeland through the empire. Whos asking for these weird changes? That open ocean was how I farmed what few ship battles I was able to find since the AI doesn’t fight in the water nearly as much (if at all) as it should. It makes the world feel significantly smaller as well since that was the only “open ocean” part of the map. They seemingly did this with the last 2-3 days. I haven’t seen any posts about it. I hadn’t seen anything about the lower maps speed a while back either though until I posted it in a few of you guys confirmed it. I also noticed that there’s a new option inside of hideouts to attack the village that essentially functions like exactly how it did before except you don’t need to wait till night time anymore (this part is good) I do not like the changes to the campaign map at all This is just a post to get feedback from all of you guys if you’re willing to share it. submitted by /u/Finan...

How do I disable item theft in Viking Conquest Reforged?

Referring to the chance of valuable items like Amber being randomly stolen from my inventory when traveling with a party over ~50. I think it's a stupid mechanic and it detracts from my enjoyment of the game. It's already hard enough to keep a band of Viking Raiders funded, I don't need random theft from people I can't punish to add to the hassle. Currently I deal with the problem by using the cheat menu to give myself the stolen item back, but I'd much prefer to just disable the mechanic entirely. Surely there is a setting somewhere in the files that controls it. Does anyone know where that setting is and how to change it to disable the mechanic? Thanks. P.S. If you know how long it takes for a monastery to both recover from being pillaged and be worth pillaging again, that information would also be appreciated. submitted by /u/SneakyPenguin77 [link] [comments]

Trade BUG that Allows to Train troops for free..

Today accidentally discovered a bug while trading that allows you to level your troops and leadership skill with it. Basically it works the following way (you might wanna fix this) 1. Interact with your trader (trader that use set from any city) 2. Give him your weapons and armor when trading with your trader (for some reason the game thinks you are throwing the weapons and armor away) - Now to have your troops leveled, you need Paid on Promise and Giving Hands perks from Steward skill. 3. Get your gear back and trade it again. Discovered this by mistake, was trying to starve a city and was buy all food from city and traders and then my trader came, I had some gear, thought what would happened if I give it to him, will he sell it 😂😂😂 Ended up leveling my troops. submitted by /u/gamerZsoul [link] [comments]

Simple things I think should be added/changed to Native

just some rough ideas, curious what you guys think or other additions I missed, also: "native" not mods. i am on xbox, so I dont have a choice but even if I did, I think base game should have these. 1) super fast time toggle or a "quick grow" setting when you create a game that means your children grow up like 6x as fast, just takes way too long in-game u usually conquer the world by then. 2) More things that require walking into cities & towns. they're so beautifully done but there's literally no reason to go inside. even warband had quests that required going in. 3) as it stands quests are mostly talking to npc's and really low profit. quests should be better in general. 4) tournaments should let you bet way more, maybe based off renown or prosperity of the town idk. also, crazy idea but ANIMALS IN THE ARENA. especially for the empire tournaments. let's fight some lions & shit. that's on brand. 5) an option to make camp on the map...

Picking Out A Trophy Husband

I'll give him nice things to wear, a pretty horse, and if he asks nicely, I might let him lead some parties after he puts a few buns in my oven. submitted by /u/kevblr15 [link] [comments]

New!

Any tips on starting as a Nord? I just got War Sails and would like to not stumble blindly by. Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/Heat2024 [link] [comments]

Am I missing something with medicine?

I see posts talking about minimizing casualties always talking about leveling medicine and how op it is and I’m kinda confused. I get that the 275 perk is really strong, but it doesn’t affect the casualty ratio right? and the maxed medicine skill overall gives like a 1% higher chance of surviving. is there something I’m missing? submitted by /u/Miserable-Act4201 [link] [comments]

Are sieges always like this?

Need help modding warsails

Need help modding bannerlord Ever since the dlc dropped i cant seem to add any mods to the game, im using nexus mods and vortex as i did before. The mods im trying to use all claim to be updated for the dlc and newest version of the game but i get an immediate crash when I turn them on. Currently only have harmony, butterlib, uiextender, mod config menu v5, diplomacy, party ai controls and their dependencies. If anyone has experienced this issue or something similar an can lend me any suggestions that would be great. submitted by /u/Ok-Measurement-8099 [link] [comments]

Most disappointing thing about WS

They didn't change polearms on foot in any sort of way. Ai still prefer slashing weapons and spears are still pretty much useless. It is ridiculous to have a viking expansion without a proper spear and shield wall. I know RBM exists but I don't like what they did to throwing weapons and it shouldn't takes a mod to make a whole weapon category be viable. submitted by /u/Big_Net325 [link] [comments]

New Flag Types?

Does bannerlord need mote flag symbols and more customisation depth. In my opinion it should be like ck3 fully developed flag customisation i think it is cery necessary to have more flag types and customisation because many times i want to make something new but i cant because of limited availability i reallly want more from bannerlord i am tired of their few flag designs submitted by /u/beastsufi [link] [comments]

How to increase loyalty?

So I (from sturgia) found myself the owner of a city from battania, but my loyalty is low. I can't stockpile resources due to the low loyalty, and if I use the games it keeps my loyalty level. Do I have any better way to increase loyalty than to hunt down a battalion companion? submitted by /u/Thewinordie [link] [comments]

We need books.

Please add books. I’d like to see two types of books added to the game. The first type would be skill books, which grant specialization (focus) points to specific skills. The War Sails DLC added a lot of new skills, which is honestly great, but the current ways of gaining skill focus points don’t really support a wonderful gameplay experience. If we want to be good at sailing and ship combat, we’re basically forced to give up investment in other skills, which feels restrictive. Is it possible to use books to improve skills, like in Warband? The second type would be lore / background books, allowing players to better understand the Empire and the barbarians, as well as the grudges, alliances, and rivalries between different clans and families, greatly enhancing immersion. For example, after the player finishes reading “Caladog”, new dialogue options could be unlocked when speaking with Caladog himself or his clan members. After marrying into his family, even more unique dialogue cou...

Traitless children

Anyone elses children being born without any traits? Neither in war sails or regular bannerlord do any of my new children being born have any traits, no matter how many times i save scum. submitted by /u/highsohih [link] [comments]

Suggestion for Imperial Troops

So it seems to me that the devs are looking make the Empire a formidable but not excessively good mixed bag of troops. A kind of jack of all trades and ace of none. While that can be a good rationale, it also leaves room for suggestions and interpretations. So I got to thinking: what did Rome and its eastern zombie state (that ultimately fell to the same illness) do that few other civilisations did at the time? Field artillery. My suggestion is ballistae (or catapultae for pedants) for the imperials only. I am unsure how it could be implemented effectively, perhaps tied to an "engineer" troop or purchasable kits (single use or perhaps a way to level engineering without sieges, I would set the price at around 10k/kit to reflect the knowledge and expertise require to manufacture it) to assemble in battle, requiring let's say, 60 seconds (scaling to engineering skill +/- 30 seconds) to assemble in battle and requiring the usual amount of troops manning it to be usable, in...

Weaken empire quest new clans

I just got on to the weaken empire quest and as I did 4 new imperial clans spawned in all with 1 member an supporting a different imperial faction except the northern empire which has 2. I was wondering if this has a in game reason to happening of if there’s any lore behind it? Also do new clans spawn for the other kingdoms if you support the empire instead? submitted by /u/AdVivid9625 [link] [comments]

Favorite strategies?

I’m curious to hear people’s go-to strategies when dealing with enemy kingdoms. Not Fian + Heavy spearman, more like buying up as much food supply as possible in their territories. I fought as a mercenary for Sturgia because they were down to their last fief. I pretty much single-handedly recaptured their kingdom but even with all of their fiefs returned they were all very poor and unable to raise decent parties let alone armies. Turns out that’s hard to do when you’re paying a mercenary 10-15k denars per day. They couldn’t defend any attacks or sieges on their own. So I’m going to attempt on my next playthrough to drain the wealth of the khuzaits using this method. Rack up a ton of influence, and then just stop defending them and watch it fall apart. Any other ideas? This got me thinking about other possible uses for that mechanic. submitted by /u/kenatons [link] [comments]

"Yeah, don't care much for infantry. How could you tell?"

Sharpshooters are the only infantry i need. submitted by /u/Octavian_Exumbra [link] [comments]

Be honest

Be honest. What should be TaleWorlds biggest focus on bannerlord should be? Me personally I don’t need any huge dlcs or updates to where its major changes, i think they should have their biggest focus on small things that alot of people want/would come in handy for them, heres what i would like to see them focus on- Marriage clan choice- When you’re sister/daughter marrys (if you have high relations with the family of the man marrying) you can choose if she stays in your clan and he joins your kingdom as a vassal or if she joins their kingdom ( so if she has good stats you can keep her in your clan) Clan debates- instead of you being heavily involved in the choices made that are brought up by nobles in your kingdom, You can (like in GOT) create your own small council of the clan leaders in your kingdom with the highest influence to make decisions like trade and alliances and arrange tournaments Marry anybody- im aware this is a console command cheat but you can only do that for pc ...

Do most of you still play on normal speed or the newer fast speed?

Personally I think “fast mode” should have just been half the normal time 6 days a month feels too fast I think even 12 would be fine but nonetheless I like it more than regular. With the war dials dlc I made a long campaign and now I’m seeing an issue with clans dying out as birth rate is not keeping up with age and it’s discouraging because I wanted my bloodline to go much further than I feel the world will allow it. So I’m wondering are most of you also using fast mode or just stick with normal default game speed? submitted by /u/Omen46 [link] [comments]

Can your children still spawn with crowns? (Xbox)

I did a quick google search and it still seems like the answer is yes but I want to make absolutely sure of it and if there is anything to up the odds on it happening? I have 3 kids coming of age soon and already conquered the map so it’s honestly the last thing on my list except some stealth stuff for fun. submitted by /u/ReaperKnight55 [link] [comments]

How can they stand on this mountain!?!

Sturgians decided to play defense on a mountain. The bodies slide down when they die, but they must have some serious strength (and cleats) to fight like this. Oh, and they brought cavalry up here too. 👌👍😁 submitted by /u/yourayenus [link] [comments]

What's your spiciest take with the war sails DLC? Mine is I think the War Sails tutorial is good.

Curious to see what everyone else's hot takes on the new DLC would be. I've seen stuff like Nords are too weak and Valandia are too strong which I've not seen play out in the 3 campaigns I've played HOWEVER my hot take is the new tutorial ends up being pretty solid. You finish clan tier 1, get a bunch of gold and equipment and some skill exp by the end of it. You can grab a companion from the city you're in and you're ready to go and rescue your brother. I really like the naval combat, you can basically skip the story and just do the missions if you've done it before and it's simple enough that you almost can't fail a mission. I figured I'd skip it in my most recent playthrough and I actually found going town to town transporting sheep or buying tools for villages really boring. I could be sailing the sea with my bald viking buddy and serving up some cold vengance to that traitor Purig. I understand the rescue mission and the one where you...

Are caravans nerfed in the new DLC?

I have a few convoys set up, some have been running for a while... but come on... 73 CONVOY INCOME? what is this??? Sometimes im even in the negatives cause they bring in so little. submitted by /u/AI_Bloodhound [link] [comments]

Is it just me?

Is it just me or is it that every time I join a kingdom, their AI just gets incredibly stupid and I end up having to carry the entire kingdom on my back. Armies can't win a fight. Their strategies are beyond Ludacris and they just end up in the dump. Even if I join the strongest faction they end up losing war after war if I don't take complete control of everything. They can't even level their troops. If I form an army, all the lords only have T1 & T2 troops while enemies have prestigious troop ranks. It's hugely frustrating. So is it just me or is anyone else noticing this pattern too? submitted by /u/WindWizard115 [link] [comments]

What formation makes Pikemen usable against infantry?

Currently, pikes suck big time when fielded against anything other than Cavalry. Is there a way to make them useful against infantry? Put them in the same formation as Shield Infantry and order them into a Shield Wall/Square? Make them walk behing formation of Shields and order a charge once lines meet? submitted by /u/doulegun [link] [comments]

When i disband my party, it doesn't get disbanded?

Title, i want to call out 3 of my companions to prepare for an attack on the hvalvik isle and start a kingdom. Since i need the kingdom first for an army to call my party, i want to recall all of them to get them in the isle before releasing them again to get army in hvalvik isle. When i recalled them, they did get back (fugitives) but the party is still there? How do i actually disband these parties? submitted by /u/ActualAd2975 [link] [comments]

How do I marry the younger sister?

I want to marry a single character, but she has an older sister and the clan leader only offers me the older sister to marry. I already did the persuasion stuff with the younger sister and passed the checks. That still didn’t do anything. submitted by /u/Useful_Light_2642 [link] [comments]

Why can't I bring companions on one ship with me (during naval combat)?

As title. Companions can be assigned to other ships as captains, but I can't use them on my single flagship? Why the hell not? I want to be able to use my archer captain to oversee my topside troops while I'm manning the helm. It's just obnoxious that I can't even bring them along when I only have ONE ship! They just float off to the side, waiting on a dingy while hoping I win to come pick them back up? submitted by /u/NotAPirateLawyer [link] [comments]

We need more control over troops on ships

Telling your guys to go port or starboard and having the defend ship command stop your guys from getting on the bridges. Honestly like 4 more command options in the menu. After getting used to the mechanics and wanting to implement more tactics it starts to feel under cooked. If nothing else at least make cutting loose quicker. I cannot count how many times I watched an enemy ship demolish my skirmish ship right next to me while my guys fumbled the nets. submitted by /u/PhallicPhella [link] [comments]
