Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. What formation makes Pikemen usable against infantry?

Currently, pikes suck big time when fielded against anything other than Cavalry. Is there a way to make them useful against infantry? Put them in the same formation as Shield Infantry and order them into a Shield Wall/Square? Make them walk behing formation of Shields and order a charge once lines meet?
