You people disgust me!

All I see on this sub is, "How do I kill my wife?", "How do I kill my King?". What happened to loyalty? What happened to romance? Maybe I'm just a simple man, but when I play this game there's a few things I do no matter what. I team up with CalaDawg and teach Dirthead the ancient Battanian technique of projectile induced dismounting. And I marry a nice Sturgian woman who I will love and protect until the day I die. Under absolutely NO circumstance do I use javelins for evil. God help any poor foolish AI who dares to capture my wife, because it won't be long before their head rolls. Call me old fashioned but I take the sacred vows of marriage seriously. submitted by /u/Friar_Corncob [link] [comments]

We need books.

Please add books.

I’d like to see two types of books added to the game.

The first type would be skill books, which grant specialization (focus) points to specific skills. The War Sails DLC added a lot of new skills, which is honestly great, but the current ways of gaining skill focus points don’t really support a wonderful gameplay experience. If we want to be good at sailing and ship combat, we’re basically forced to give up investment in other skills, which feels restrictive. Is it possible to use books to improve skills, like in Warband?

The second type would be lore / background books, allowing players to better understand the Empire and the barbarians, as well as the grudges, alliances, and rivalries between different clans and families, greatly enhancing immersion. For example, after the player finishes reading “Caladog”, new dialogue options could be unlocked when speaking with Caladog himself or his clan members. After marrying into his family, even more unique dialogue could become available, reflecting that shared history and relationship.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
