Everybody manages to "win" the game

I mean I play it mainly as Role play, so winning it is not my goal, but I definitely want to be successful. Usually, getting first city is pretty hard, because having less than 200 troops, building siege camp, fending off enemy lords roaming around my siege camp requires big heap of luck. Then expanding the kingdom without clans is hard, even with two or three it gets hard against fully established kingdoms. However, weekly I see many posts about finished game, great strategic win, destroying whole kingdoms singlehandedly.... I am by no means beginner, having 2K+ hours in Warband (partially napoleonic wars as regiment member, but still many hours in Floris, Pendor and so on), 700+ hours in Bannerlord. Do most of you still play on normal speed or the newer fast speed?

Personally I think “fast mode” should have just been half the normal time 6 days a month feels too fast I think even 12 would be fine but nonetheless I like it more than regular. With the war dials dlc I made a long campaign and now I’m seeing an issue with clans dying out as birth rate is not keeping up with age and it’s discouraging because I wanted my bloodline to go much further than I feel the world will allow it. So I’m wondering are most of you also using fast mode or just stick with normal default game speed?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
