Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. What the hell is going on? submitted by /u/Dependent-Ad3131 [link] [comments]

What's your spiciest take with the war sails DLC? Mine is I think the War Sails tutorial is good.

Curious to see what everyone else's hot takes on the new DLC would be. I've seen stuff like Nords are too weak and Valandia are too strong which I've not seen play out in the 3 campaigns I've played HOWEVER my hot take is the new tutorial ends up being pretty solid.

You finish clan tier 1, get a bunch of gold and equipment and some skill exp by the end of it. You can grab a companion from the city you're in and you're ready to go and rescue your brother. I really like the naval combat, you can basically skip the story and just do the missions if you've done it before and it's simple enough that you almost can't fail a mission. I figured I'd skip it in my most recent playthrough and I actually found going town to town transporting sheep or buying tools for villages really boring. I could be sailing the sea with my bald viking buddy and serving up some cold vengance to that traitor Purig.

I understand the rescue mission and the one where you have to take out the boat fort can be tedious and slow but so can lots of Bannerlord. The RTS camera mod let's you fast forward a lot of the slow stuff but I honestly didn't mind taking my time with it and having some fun.

Now that I can hit clan tier 2 in a much more engaging and immersive way I think I'll be taking the tutorial for my campaign playthroughs and leaving the sheppard role play for my sandbox runs. What is everyone else's opinion? Do you find the old way a little boring now?

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
