Are Naute just better Legionary now ? I think they are and Legionaries need a buff

I have been testing quite a bit Naute vs Legionaries as I want to make a Infantry playthrough with Empire only units and I noticed Legionaries are just ass now. Naute even with worse armor just outperform and that even in battles where they are outnumbered and/or fight mixed armies against t5/t4 with archers and cav. Really was surprised by how good the Naute are compared to Legionaries or other infantry from other factions. submitted by /u/KolkanCova [link] [comments]

Problem eliminating the Sarranid Sultanate

The last two factions in my game besides Glorious Rhodoks™ were the Sarranids and the Nords. We were at war with the Nords, and were in the middle of steamrolling their last few fiefs. But just before we were done, every land-owning Sarranid defected to Rhodoks, giving us the entire map. I got a message saying the kingdom of Nords was destroyed, but the Sarranid Sultanate is still a faction, even though it's had zero land for quite a while now. I don't know if you have to be at war with them for the faction to be eliminated, but I'm not sure if they can even wage war since they have no land and a handful of vassals.
