Most polished complete overhaul mod?

Out of the Game of thrones, Warhammer, Anno Domini 1259 and Empires of Europe mods, which one has the least amount of lag and bugs? I don't mind which one I play, I just want a new experience from vanilla. submitted by /u/Horcsogg [link] [comments]

Any way to arrange archers on the battlements?

When I assault, the AI archers are all along the battlements pelting us with arrows.

However, when I defend, they're all clustered up near the ladder. I tried telling them to hold position, but they act all wonky and still end up trying to be all clustered. In fact, hold position can be worse because of their tendency to form a line facing the center of gravity of the enemy blob, so sometimes that means some of them go into the courtyard or back up against the back wall.

I've tried standing ground, hold position, follow me, but just not issuing any commands seems to yield the least crappy results. Half my archers are usually just standing a few feet away from the wall, so they're not shooting. THe other half is clustered with infantry near the breach.
