A good question, m'lord.
Let's go full shittyaskscience on this one.
We need to know how much money they made on this baby.
So, maths, right... If we can trust Steamdb, Talewords sold roughly 3 millions of Warband copies. Steam price for it is 20$, but let's take 15$ because of the sales. So, 45 000 000 $ was made on Warband alone. It also had 3 DLCs, so let's multiply that by 1.5, because we don't know any numbers on Dlcs.
67 500 000 $. Seems fine.
But!
We don't know who exactly works at Talewords, so we'll make 2 separate calculations. One for low quality workers, one for high quality.
So, a swadian peasant costs 1 money per week. If they have 60 peasants (As /u/Jzargo64 stated), they spend 52x60=ehh, 3120 $ per year.
Let's face it, they can't have 67 500 000 $, right? Someone gotta pay for all the electricity, golden limousines, stripclubs... So let's divide it by 2 for the honesty. Uhm, 33 750 000 $. That's 10 812 (10817-5) years of work on Bannerlord. It seems like a believable ETA, but let's dig deeper.
If you saw the Gamescom footage, you know that simple buttermen couldn't make such an amazing game. They must have Swadian Knights employed, not peasants. A knight costs 59 moneys per week at max. That's 60x59=3540 per week. Multiply that by 52 weeks in a year, then it's 184 080$ per year. Seems more like it.
So 33750000 divided by 184 080=183. 183 Years. 5 were already spent, so it's 178 years.
But how much time left isn't the main question. How to play it is the main question. Without alien-tech healthcare we can't play it. But don't get too desperate now. You would trust your relative, right? If your relative plays it, you would believe the story.
So, youngest potential relative of an average Butterlord of age 19, is his child. A butterlord would averagely live till 80's, so to have the most efficient life, he needs to impregnate someone, when at the age of 80. It's a bit tricky to not die before impregnating (Or during), but playing Dark Souls makes you good at timing and helps to not die of boredom, so do that.
Now, that child would probably live till 90s, because better healthcare. So it's 90 + 61 + 1 (pregnancy) = 152 years of lifetime. Still not enough, eh? Then we need a grandchild. He will guaranteely play Bannerlord, if Butterlord and Butterheir live the longest possible.
Tl;dr: I know these guys, they will develop the game 'till they die from hunger. Your grandson will play it 100%.
Originally intended to be a reply to this post, it turned out to be too long. Just like Bannerlord development.
