How to improve auto resolve outcomes?

I auto-resolve 90% of the fights I get into, what can I do for better results? Should I find 1-2 companions with high tactics skill and keep them in my party? Will that help? Do I have to assign them into any role? There is no slot for tactics role, is it enough if I just keep them in my party? As for sieges, should I keep a companion with high engineering skill and assign him in the engineering slot? I just simply suck at fighting and I am better at overall map-control. submitted by /u/Horcsogg [link] [comments]

A Hoarse Goodbye - Calradic Campaign #20

The Khanate is silent this evening.

Terrible rumors have circulated that the wife of /u/SanjarKhan has been killed by Sarranid raiders. While the Khergits have not refused to comment on the matter, many believe that there is clear horse play at work.

Though /u/Sultan_Hakim tends to stay in the shadows regarding poltics, he is no dark horse. His actions always have significant weight behind them. Clearly this is a sharp threat.

Sanjar is not hitting the hay on this one, and has mobilized his forces to meet with the Sarranids. Though many consider this a trap waiting to be sprung on the Khan, he refuses to get off his high horse on this one. It's personal.

In Meta Terms

Welcome to the 20th Calradic Campaign! This event will see the Khergits on a bloody path of vengeance against the stalwart Sarranids. If the Khanate can shatter the Sultan's forces in the field, they will charge forward and seize Sharwa Castle, burning everything in between. Should the Sarranids hold off the stampede, they will punish the Khergits by laying siege to Asugan.

/u/SanjarKhan will be leading the Khergits and /u/dryykon will be leading the Sarranids. If one of them cannot attend, a marshal will be appointed.

To join the event, just join the server! There are no sign-ups required, and while it is recommended to join voice chat for bants and vague tactics, it isn't required.

Donating to the Calradic Campaign

The Calradic Campaign server is our own, and we run it ourselves on a donation basis as we have for over a year. We now have a Patreon that you can put in a monthy or one time amount to contribute. There are multiple reward tiers with more coming, and with a larger pool of money we can expand our community events (like Mod Night!) as well as preparing for the expected high server costs of Bannerlord (should it ever come out).

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
