Khergit Khanate won't dissolve

Alright so I've defeated all other factions but the Khergit Khanate just won't go away. They also keep sending me peace offers that I keep refusing, should accepting it help?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
