How to improve auto resolve outcomes?

I auto-resolve 90% of the fights I get into, what can I do for better results? Should I find 1-2 companions with high tactics skill and keep them in my party? Will that help? Do I have to assign them into any role? There is no slot for tactics role, is it enough if I just keep them in my party? As for sieges, should I keep a companion with high engineering skill and assign him in the engineering slot? I just simply suck at fighting and I am better at overall map-control. submitted by /u/Horcsogg [link] [comments]

Viking conquest too easy?

I know the difficulty is customizable but does that apply to my soldiers or just my own personal combat? Im pretty strong by now so I wouldn't expect that there's a northman or a man in the isles who could defeat me personally, but i very rarely have casualties in my shield wall, even when the numbers are mostly even. I don't go for fights when im outnumbered by more than 20. I recruit some basic troops but my trading has brought me wealth and I have many svear warriors in my party, and they are usually the weakest infantry that i keep in my traveling party of 81 (as many as I can sail with currently). When I go for my next playthrough, is there any way to increase the difficulty when it comes to the strategy aspect of the game and not just how my PC measures against the rest of the warriors that VC has to offer?

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
