Bannerlord leaders

I just realized how Mount and Blade makes you feel almost Desensitized

Every single person in the game, except vassals, rulers, companions, ladies, merchants, and the other npcs you generally talk to, all are one dimensional... You don't really think about it, but the people in the game, you throw away, or kill without much care. It's like these virtual deaths mean nothing... the only time we seem to care is when your elite troop that you trained for a month suddenly died instead of being knocked unconscious. It is a bit funny, and yet so sad... that those 20 casualties on the field, and those 120 kills on the enemy side are little to nothing. It feels like Mount and Blade gives us too much power... over such powerless pawns who follow us into battles to die, and expect weekly pay.

However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
