Monchug was feeling generous today.

I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. The only way this could've been better is if Monchug died instead of his companion. submitted by /u/Glorf_Warlock [link] [comments]

A WFAS mod that is sorely deserving of more credit!

Recently downloaded The English Civil War mod for WFAS, and I’ve gotta say I’m shocked it hasn’t garnered more attention. I’ve actually played WFAS quite a bit and I know it’s not quite as popular but I’m telling you, give this mod a chance. The dev clearly knows his history and has planted little Easter eggs referring to the period throughout. The gameplay stays pretty true to the period, even your best cavalry won’t hold up against a wall of rabble armed with piles, and you can sort of pepper in a healthy mix of muskets and really get a feel for the age of pike and shot. If you own WFAS and have any interest in historical mods (disclaimer: I love history), I can’t recommend it enough.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
