Buying the world

I started with the Aserai as a vassal and was given a good chunk of the Southern Empire as feifs being an empire culture character. I guess I got lucky but the Aserai decided to only fight the western empire for years and I took the time to get my trade up to the max to buy settlements which was a major pain. I was able to manipulate votes to go back to war with the south and took a few more towns and castles which were thankfully all voted to me somehow. By then I was making $30k+ a turn with a few million in the bank I left the Aserai and paid the $1 million for peace. Thanks to the Khuzait and Aserai for taking a few of the north, south, and some of the western empires fiefs, I’ve been able to buy up towns and castles for cheap. At this point I can just wait in town for income and keep buying them up until I can buy the whole world. I know this strategy has been around for a while but I haven’t tried it yet but it’s been pretty fun. submitted by /u/PassOnInTheWin...

Cheeky dutch

Sorry if I’m Breaking any rules posting this story about L’aigle. Couldn’t tell from the rules if it was okay or not.

Some quick backstory: Started playing the L’aigle mod recently. Manager to get a 135-man-army composed of only British grenadiers. I’m attacking a dutch general and during the first battle, he decides to charge together with his cavalry. He goes down and his troops retreat. We’re fighting in the forest, so I can’t see very far.

The second battle starts off well: anticipate the cavalry charge by forming a square and opening fire just before impact. Manage to whipe out most of their cavalry and I suddenly see their infantry run away. Hurray! Easy win. Decide to bayonet charge them as they retreat. Suddenly the forrest opens up and they’ve formed a new line and start picking off my scrabled forces who haven’t reloaded their guns. Now I have to retreat back!

All went well, but I was surprised by the cheeky tactic. Learned my lesson I guess; don’t get cocky, as you’ll lose good men

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
