[AWOIAF] How do I get to Estermont if I don't have a ship yet?

Just started out and got a quest to kill someone in Estermont. I tried using the ferry, but it just gets me to Dorne. Is there no way to get to Estermont without buying a ship?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
