[PoP] What skills actually matter for companions when they become lords (when I give them castle) ?

Hi.

I was looking for this info everywhere but it seems inconclusive.

Does anyone know if it useful to level some skills for companions before making them lords, and if yes what skills (leadership ? trainer ? trade ?).
