Hey folks! Question about War Sails.

I’m still a new player at Mount & Blade. My friend has the PS+ catalogue so I gave Warband a shot and liked it, I’ll be sure to play it on PC! I’m interested in buying War Sails. Bannerlord stuck on prebattle dialog with bandits

Sometimes when i waylay a band of mountain bandits or looters. Ill get the "mess with us and we'll sell our lives dearly" screen and then the cursor vanishes and I can't select anything, can't exit, can't engage in battle... nothing. Please tell me there is a known fix.
