Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. 1.5.9 Beta: Does anybody know the difference between regular bolts and balanced bolts?

As per title. I have both in my inventory and the tooltip shows no difference in their characteristics whatsoever. Curious to know whether there's something going on behind the scenes. Maybe they're faster? Maybe they arc a bit less? Couldn't find it online. If they are functionally the same I would gladly switch to a large bag of bolts for the extra ammo, but until I find out I'll keep the balanced ones equipped, ya never know
