STUCK AT BEGINING OF WARSAILS

I escorted the merchants and fought off two ships in a sea battle . I'm on the Scourge of the Seas quest. It tells me to talk to Gunnar via a golden exclamation point. I go to talk to him and he says thst he is waiting on new." What do I do now? It seems as though there are no obvious prompts and the quest still exists. I need help specifically with advancing this quest...I can't believe I am stuck this early in the game. If anyone has any advice, I'm really desperate. Map speed feels/is too slow

I know there was patch that butchered map speed for horses but now filling my party with horses doesn't feel right even more because some lord can go on foot with ~4 speed but my band of brothers can speed up only to a 4.4 at really really most? I wouldn't my mind that slowness if it persistent on NPC lords as well but they are always out-running me. I don't know what I have done wrong: having excess of warhorses (that creates somehow a "horde" negativity?), being a Khuzait (some bug with "nomadic culture" perk?), unbalanced numbers of regular horse and packhorse, something I cannot think of?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
