What unit combinations have you found useful now that you can more easily mix units? So far I think Vlandia is the real winner. You can now easily separate your bow archers from crossbows by favoring shields in one group. The Voulgier is one of the only units with a polearm and a throwing weapon so it is really easy to get him in a group alone to have a strike or line break formation. If you set your infantry to prefer heavy armor then have your traditional archers in a mixed unit with infantry it will put low level infantry in that group. It all works so well now.
