What is fast mode?

Fief problems

Why is it I've single handedly won at least 13-15 fiefs and castles for the sturgians but I'm not even an option to receive one anymore, I got one in like the middle of my playthrough (almost 90 hours) and haven't even seen my name in the option to give it to me its just randos who are clan level 5. Is there any fix? or am I destined to only have one fief for the rest of my playthrough.
