Traveling the world as a Battanian armed trader. Now what?

Started a new sandbox campaign as a Battanian lad and lately I’ve been traversing the whole map completing the occasional side quest, trading, hunting brigands, and going on the tournament circuit. In my first campaign, I joined a faction way too early and got sucked into endless war which I want to avoid here, but what else can I do? If I go the mercenary route or don’t pledge allegiance to anyone at all, can I still get a city or castle to use as a base of operations?

Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features.
