You can see in the post battle screen that it's about 1300ish vs my 200ish and the battle only lasted 6 minutes. But they had 2100 troops to my 260, so I think I won the battle with 800 of their troops not even entering the battlefield. I basically spent the entire 6 minute battle delaying the battering ram from getting to our gate. Meanwhile my archers shot them to death. Just as title said. What's the point of having cities or castles in this game? Tax income is dogshit, penalities for owner culture are huge, you need to unkeep whole garnison, your villages keep gettin raided and castles sieged. There is a lot of negative things about fiefs but is there literally any positive aspect about owning a city/castle?
