STUCK AT BEGINING OF WARSAILS

I escorted the merchants and fought off two ships in a sea battle . I'm on the Scourge of the Seas quest. It tells me to talk to Gunnar via a golden exclamation point. I go to talk to him and he says thst he is waiting on new." What do I do now? It seems as though there are no obvious prompts and the quest still exists. I need help specifically with advancing this quest...I can't believe I am stuck this early in the game. If anyone has any advice, I'm really desperate. Do you guys have titles for your character and their family members based on their worth to you?

I like to have the main character I'm using at the time have cool titles like Sanjak Bey which translates somewhat to 'Flag Lord' or 'Banner Lord', while the family members based, on their worth to me, have other titles, such as Ser, Lady, and Bey.

Another Question I have is whether anyone else also likes to put the 'of (Insert Place here)', 'the (Insert cool sounding word here)', or 'Scourge of (Insert Kingdom/Region name here)?

My current character for example is 'Sanjak Bey Suthai, Son of None, Scourge of the North'

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
