STUCK AT BEGINING OF WARSAILS

I escorted the merchants and fought off two ships in a sea battle . I'm on the Scourge of the Seas quest. It tells me to talk to Gunnar via a golden exclamation point. I go to talk to him and he says thst he is waiting on new." What do I do now? It seems as though there are no obvious prompts and the quest still exists. I need help specifically with advancing this quest...I can't believe I am stuck this early in the game. If anyone has any advice, I'm really desperate. Realm of Thrones has ruined me

I started Bannerlord playing Realm of Thrones Mod. Having never played the vanilla game I wanted to try it after my extensive play through. After playing the vanilla version for 4 hours I started a new Realm of Thrones play through, the attention to detail in the armor, units and landscape is such a better experience than the vanilla game. I feel like all the armor and weapons in the vanilla game are so boring and un imaginative that it didn’t give me any incentive to grind for the “top tier” loot. Having said that is their any other total overhaul mods out there that can compete with Realm of Thrones.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
