STUCK AT BEGINING OF WARSAILS

I escorted the merchants and fought off two ships in a sea battle . I'm on the Scourge of the Seas quest. It tells me to talk to Gunnar via a golden exclamation point. I go to talk to him and he says thst he is waiting on new." What do I do now? It seems as though there are no obvious prompts and the quest still exists. I need help specifically with advancing this quest...I can't believe I am stuck this early in the game. If anyone has any advice, I'm really desperate. I’m not in fief votes

I’m still a vassal of valandia and have 11 feifs(5 cities and 6 castles) and now I haven’t been put in any more of the votes, I’ve been taking land right next to me but it doesn’t help even when I am in a vote I have a 0% vote and even influence can’t help me.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
