i can't sue for peace while actively dying

im in 2 front war, all my vassals are captured, i have one castle left after vlandia cane with the 2000 men army and took my city , and i cant make peace even i i want to pay tribute. Why are the Triarii so weak?

They have to be the weakest “Tier 4 “ troops in the game and their armor is actually good. I don’t understand why they’re so fucking garbage?
