i can't sue for peace while actively dying

im in 2 front war, all my vassals are captured, i have one castle left after vlandia cane with the 2000 men army and took my city , and i cant make peace even i i want to pay tribute. I joined the empire recently and got a castle, after this my income of the castle became negative. What should i do to make to positive and if i leave the emire and want to be independent will the loose my fief?
