i can't sue for peace while actively dying

im in 2 front war, all my vassals are captured, i have one castle left after vlandia cane with the 2000 men army and took my city , and i cant make peace even i i want to pay tribute. Lords Ignoring summons to my army.

I’m confused. I was just named a vassal of vlandia, and I saw one of our armies disband. I was right next to the castle I wanted to take, so I formed an army. The lords nearby cost relatively low influence so I spent it and formed the army. The lords were on their way for about five seconds, then all of them went back home, ignoring the summons. Is there some mechanic I’m missing? Perhaps I need to have a fief? Just stinks that my first army summons totally failed and cost me almost 80 influence for nothing
