I only want 2 Mods and I can't make them Work. Help

I'm required to have a total of 7 mods to make either the game or the mods playable. The version beside the mod for some reason does not mean game version, so it does match game version as close as I could find it. There sure were a lot of people saying Teleworlds had not wrecked mods with needless updates, so I'd like them to show me how to make the 2 mods I want work. 1: Some Mod to have all the Children I want. I don't care which 2: Some mod that allows me to talk to people without chasing them across the map Obviously game breaking things like the grain bug can not go unaddressed so if your solution is for a game version before they fixed that, 'Are You Really Going To Eat All That' will need to work with your mod list. Obviously a MCM will be needed to tweak the Children mod unless you can tell me a way around that. I would love to play this game again. I used to have like 50 mods before Teleworld ruined everything, but I would be content with just these 2.
