I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. I’m trying to swap around some companions as governors and party leaders so I can increase relation with them by making certain ones party leaders until I max out relation and swap them for a governor, making them a party leader for relation and so on. That’s the only way I can find to increase relation: make them party leaders and do things they like. Anyway. I called back a few governors and they are in my party and have been for a few weeks game time. But they are not available to select as governors. I saw some people say to put them in the town and then select them as governor, but when I try to put them in a town it says “Companion is not available right now” so I’m not sure what to do. Any help?
I’m playing the Realm of Thrones mod if that matters.
