Wedding issue

So, I got my own Kingdom, I have like 10ish Lords, 5-6 Towns and many more castles. I found a girl, I want to settle down. I got blessing from her father, I got agreement from her. I got the grill I thought. Her father even got my money, and he said that he will hold the feast, but all that he is doing, is sitting in the castle and doing nothing. It is been like 200 days since. I want my grill. Is that guy just a scum? Or he wants a town, so he can hold a very good party for fellas?

TL:DR Lord doesn't hold a feast, so I cannot marry a lady for 200 days in my own kingdom.
