Is there a mod that changes the formation system to the one from Warband?

In Warband you would allocate troops to formations on your party screen. You could put individual troops in formation 1,2, 3 etc. In bannerlord it feels cumbersome having to do it in the battle deployment screen using the sliders. Is there a way to change this? submitted by /u/FingersToKeyboard [link] [comments]

Never Played A Mount and Blade Game.

As the title says I've never played a Mount and Blade game but I've heard a lot about them and I am considering getting one. I have just a couple questions. Which game should I start with? How hard are they to get into? Are there any really basic tips you could give me to help me get started? Thanks for your time. Submitted July 31, 2017 at 11:20PM by JJSwat77 http://ift.tt/2uPtsiO

PSA: You do not need a high right to rule to start your own kingdom.

Right to rule is how much other lords and kings respect you. When declaring war on you, the script does NOT calculate RtR. Wiki Article The higher your right to rule is, the more likely lords will be to see you as the real king and even join you. If you have a low right to rule, other kingdoms will take you as a renegade, and other lords may not join your faction when you attempt to persuade them. ...Note that Right to Rule has no impact on whether or not other factions declare war on you in Warband. It is a common mistaken belief that it does. However the internal script that decides to declare war does not check this variable. Submitted July 31, 2017 at 06:52PM by Sowatee http://ift.tt/2vnq0gY

With the new season of Game of Thrones I feel like checking out one of the two mods. Which one?

Title is pretty much all you need to know. I've already done some of the legwork myself; troop tree references in ACOK 4.1 seem to currently be broken and AWOIAF's much advertised 'kill lords' feature is too penalized to even be worth a damn really. I don't care how the developers of the mod behave so long as they aren't breaking the law so unless their attitudes directly affect the quality of their work I'd prefer not to hear a reason to not choose a mod as 'X mod maker is a dick' or some such. I've done some testing but I can't decide for myself; ACOK has the better models but things drastically changing between versions bother me (the adding of equipment penalties to stats, removal of certain quests in favor of randomized events that take ages) on the flip side while I appreciate the idea behind AWOIAF the writing in it feels way too much like bad fanfiction. I mean seriously all of your companions are at least semi-important canon char

Never ending truce

My game has stagnated because after wars complete none of the truces ever expire. I've looked around and there is some kind of "fix" in simple_triggers.txt to modify a value (384.0xxxxx) to (24.0xxxxx). However, my simple_triggers.txt doesn't contain the 384.0x value anywhere. Are there any low-unit focussed mods?

After playing dozens of mods and hundreds of hours, i wanted to try something new. I'm looking for a mods that puts you in a rather small world with low units, where the strength of a single unit is worth more. Like you can equip every member yourself and there isn't huge battles to play but small heavy fights man on man which decide future gameplay. Like you play a small band of soldiers or a super strong assassin squad. I hope there is such a playable mod, im pretty stoned atm so sorry if i wrote a bit unclear. Kill the king?

This is my first reddit post ever and I assumed this would be the best place to ask this question. My friend told me about a mod for warband a few months ago and I can't remember the name of it but I remember a feature where you can basically become the kings best friend and either a random event happens where an assassin kills the king or you can order his death and when he dies the entire kingdom is left to you to run, all the land he had for himself and his vassals. Anyone know what it is? Submitted July 30, 2017 at 05:43PM by King_Nikolia http://ift.tt/2vcICiY

Parabellum mod new version?

Hi, I saw some guy on ModDB saying that he got version 1.3 from developer, so I googled and found THIS update: http://ift.tt/2wbFzoo Anyone knows what it contains? I know that it has been worked on in background, 2_F_Jeff even sent me a message that he will do a video on it but didn't do it, that was a month or so ago. So, anyone knows something about the development? I know that it is worked on, from the scratch so he won't have any copyright issues. It will be set in Europe, but that's about it. Would like to know what is left to do, etc. Thanks. Submitted July 30, 2017 at 01:38PM by fuckedupSum41 http://ift.tt/2vjtqRV

Most troops you've seen in a battle?

I was going to make a post showing off the 6300 plus-strong army that was attacking one of my castles in warsword, but instead, I thought I'd open it up for discussion. What's the biggest battle you've seen in mount and blade, vanilla or modded? In case you're wondering: we only had about 100 troops at that castle. to say it didn't go well is an understatement! Grand Taleworlds Conspiracy: Release Date Under Our Noses

I know we all have been anxiously awaiting the release of Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, but I am here to tell you that the release date has been under our noses this entire time. Lets start out simple. Warband starts in the year 1257, if we split that into 4 pieces and take the corresponding letter in the alphabet of the number, we get ABEG. If we rearrange the letters, we get BEGA. Does that sound familiar? It should, it is from the soundbyte "Away with you, vile beggar!" . Looking at the size of that sound, we get 47 kilobytes. 1257+47=1304, splitting that into two and turning it into letters we get M and D. MD refers to doctors, and who is a doctor? Jeremus! This brings me to the next part of Taleworld's ruse. Looking at Jeremus' stats , we find 4 skills with 3 skill points invested in them. Add it together and we get 12. Separate his base health, 45, into two numbers, 4 and 5. Add them and get 9. Now we have two numbers, 9 and 12. But what if we took t

Lords are friccin defecting everywhere... it's hilarious.

I'm playing as a sarranids vassal, and we conquered khergits, destroying the faction. A couple days later the lords started defecting to random factions, and I was relieved by the end. Then, lords that weren't even from khergit starting defecting. First, jarl haeda and count grainwad defect to rhodoks and vaegirs, but I didn't think to much of it because that happens right? Then emir Lakem, Jarl bulba, and count Montewar defect all to vaegirs. THEN LIKE 5 VAEGERIAN LORDS DEFECT. Over the next couple days people defect like crazy until it finally stops. When the dust settles, everything is chaos. Nothing belongs to who it should and almost none of the original lords belong to their original faction except the kings, and maybe a couple marshals. Suddenly, every faction gradually declares war on every other faction over the course of a few days and ride off to fight battles for no reason. It's been two weeks since then, and the once proud sarranids as well as the

Tip/Exploit to Minimize Losses in Viking Conquest Siege Event!

Maybe you guys already know about this and I'm just extremely late to the party, but there's a way for you not to lose about 40 men every day while you siege a castle during the Viking Conquest version of the siege. Please tell me whether this counts as an exploit so I can feel cheap, or if this a legitimate tip so I can feel like I'm helping the community! I've only tested this in Viking Conquest, so unless AWOIAF has a "Quarters" option on the lower left hand side, this might not work. So as you guys know, many people prefer the newer method of siege from the Viking Conquest mod for many reasons, due to the complex ways of taking a castle, including the option to actually starve a castle out without losing as much as half your food supply and troops (unless its in the winter). This post is for people that want to have the best of both worlds when it comes to starving the defenders out, or just immediate attacking upon beginning the siege. As long as this

[AWOIAF] Increasing the effectively of spies?

Hey there, Been enjoying AWOIAF as of late, around ~500 days in and have just pledged to Aegon. I've been trying to use spies to avoid the bloodbath sieges, however they seem very ineffective. Most of the ones I have sent have been caught and killed before they were of any use, and the one that actually got through was killed when I tried to cause dissent. So I suppose my question is, is there any way to make them more effective or is it designed to be high risk, high reward? [Brytenwalda] The all-death battles, and duplicate Lord unit bug

So I realized that there's a pretty huge bug when it comes to battles vs enemy Lords in Brytenwalda - Everyone on your side who hits 0 HP will die, except for you, even if you have Surgery 10+. This includes ally Lords, and it includes Companions. If companions 'die', they end up out of your party and rejoin soon after. No big deal, except if you're fighting an extended war an Orosio or whoever is your designated healer 'dies'? Oh boy. But if ally Lords 'die', they act as if defeated and respawn - Even if they won the battle and their unit respawns! This leads to there being duplicate "Lord Curlymoustache Unit" once he forms another army - One with him at the helm and one without a Lord. If you talk to the Lordless Lord unit, you'll get a random guy talking to you from the troop, and your options are "Nothing" or "Surrender or die"... If you ask them to surrender you can't join the fight because they're on yo

[PoP] Unique spawn wasn't caught

Hey all, I tried to find an answer on the main forums and Wiki but didn't find anything that answered this question specifically, so I was hoping y'all might know. I was fighting a Jatu unique spawn and after a few skirmishes I got the upper hand and defeated him. Every time I defeated a rare spawn until now I got him/her captured, but this time it didn't happen. I was fighting on my own against him so it's not possible that someone else could've taken him. All I know is that since it was after a few skirmishes the Unique Spawn was injured (10% hp) and didn't participate in the battle himself. Did I not capture him because he was injured? If so, what does it mean? Will he be able to spawn again, or is it like I exiled him post-capture? Thanks in advance for the answers Submitted July 28, 2017 at 10:55AM by omrixs http://ift.tt/2tPBeuk

What affects relations between factions?

I noticed that Swadia and Sarranid (relations 65) has not gone to war with each other forever. Same with Rhodoks and Khergits (relations 50), Rhddoks and Vaegirs (relations 40). I discovered that usually after two factions are at 0 for some time, they will go to war. Defense, trade, non-aggression pacts will increase the relations, but then will degrade down to 0 as the pacts expire. But the Swadia-Sarranid and Rhodok-Khergit and Rhodok-Vaegir relations have not changed in forever (currently nearing 700 days) -- they're merely at peace. What affects those numbers? I'm hoping for a three-front war so I can sneak in some sieges without getting counter-sieged immediately, but that seems unlikely with these kingdoms. Using Diplomacy. PoP is difficult as advertised, but not in a fun way

Prophesy of Pendor isn't fun. Vanilla Mount and Blade became too grindy and uninteresting for me, so I decided to look into mods. It came down to two obviously, but Floris was described as "Vanilla+" so I opted for PoP. I come from games where Losing is Fun, but Mount & Blade losing isn't fun. It's a grind that spits in your face and is invariably less interesting than Not Losing. Companions cost thousands, more grind. Without a host of companions with Trainer, it seems like troops take ages longer to train up to just being footmen in PoP. More grind. Of course I knew to avoid sea raiders and maybe even "tundra" raiders (which have plate armor in this??) due to basically being elite troops, but there are extremely armored mounted units placed among random bands of even looters and forest bandits, sometimes 3 or 4, which even footmen have an incredibly difficult time killing; they kill a good chunk of my force every time. More grind. There are r

How to force a King to start a war?

Well, I'm standing for a Kingdom of Rhodoks. At the beginning we had a war w/Sarranids and captured Shariz and forgot-its-name casle near Shariz. After that came 30-days peace w/them, but the next 20 or more days still no war with any faction. Because of no war, there almost aren't any looters left in our Kingdom, and morale of my party is usually at Average or lower. In addition to that, Sarranids and Khergits also don't participate in any war conflict. I also have no tasks in my village (our relationships is already at 40), almost no lord can give my a task also. How to fix that situation? Game became very boring because of that all. A random gamers thoughts on 4 popular mods

So I've recently come back to mount and blade after a long hiatus, and decided to check out some of the overhaul mods as I'd only ever really played vanilla with some minor mods like diplomacy. The first one I tried was Prophecy of Pendor. Apparently famed for its unforgiving gameplay, larger troop sizes and higher leveled troops. Honestly found this mod a ton of fun, and it's difficult more or less overstated especially compared to those to come. The second mod I started after a power outage crashed my unsaved game was the brytenwalda mod. This mod is head and shoulders and torso above PoP in difficulty. I couldn't beat the random bandit that spawns at the start, and my first engagement led to me cresting a hill only to be hit right in the face with a javelin. Instakill. Add on the wounding system, which gives you permanent stat loss when you are knocked out, ( you're knocked out a lot btw) the stumbling mechanic, and the overpriced, low quality equipment and t

Here is the population and amount of butter consumed by the Kingdom of Swadia

Swadia is very similar with the Holy Roman Empire. Fielding very powerful heavy calvary and surrounded on all sides by possible enemies, the HRE became more and more decentralized before completely falling apart. Likewise, Harlaus usually has more and more of his lords hate him because their fiefs keep getting raided because of a multi-front war, which results in more feasts, which results in them being off the field so their fiefs get... you get the point. It’s bordered to the south by mountains (The Alps), to the west by hordes (Golden Horde), to the north by northmen (Scandinavians), and the only difference between Swadia and the HRE is that Swadia gets an ocean while the HRE gets France on their eastern border. Both Swadian and HRE armor were very similar - here is a Swadian Knight vs a band of Imperial Knights . Other things you should note is that I’m going to count Rome as part of the Holy Roman Empire, and I am going to assume that Swadian Knights are the same as knights in E

Why I think the Khergit Lancer is the best unit in the game.

Because of their versatility, I think that Khergit Lancers are the best unit in the game. Field Battles: When it comes to field battles, cavalry is king. In Native, there are only 4 high-tier cavalry units: Vaegir Knights, Khergit Lancers, Swadian Knights, and Sarranid Mamelukes. Even though Khergit Lancers are inferior to the Swadian Knight and Sarranid Mamelukes in field combat, an entire army of Khergit Lancers will easily be able to outnumber and outmaneuver any enemy cavalry. (Khergit Lancers are arguably better in combat against Vaegir Knights). Question: "So why not just use an entire army of Swadian Knights?" Answer: Khergit Lancers have other advantages other than field battle effectiveness. These include: Cost Effectiveness: It costs only 80 denars to fully upgrade a Khergit Lancer, as opposed to 200 denars for a Swadian Knight. Easy to Train: Khergit Lancers are only a tier-four unit, making them much quicker to train as opposed to other cavalry. Sieges: Kher

Battle frequency

Ok to jump straight I'm curious to see if an opinion is shared about battle frequency, for me it seemed too frequent in warband, Which may seem counter intuitive and I understand why it was quite frequent, battles play a dominant part in the game, they are essentially the means for the majority of people accumulate wealth, exp, and honour etc and the game beyond that is to further justify fighting some more. But in its frequency I think it missed out on a real sense of risk, and became grindy in part. But still I love the game for all its jankiness (reserving the right to make up words), I love the idea of realism, but understand the need for divergences with reality for the enjoyment of what is a game meant to be enjoyed, not meant to replicate the true nature of the setting, in which we would most likely have ended up shitting ourselves to death, if not for the fighting then dysentery. So yes you could lose everything you worked up to save and build, and yeah permadeath could

I figured out the demographics and population of the Sarranid Sultanate

I'm basing the Sarranid Sultanate off it's most likely real-world counterpart, the Ayyubid Dynasty of Egypt. Both are very similar in that they used heavily armored slave-soldiers (Mamelukes), existed around the same time and have similar styles of clothing and armor. Ayyubid warrior and Sarranid infantry . Both were established by strongmen who created their own dynasties, and since the western style of feudalism never really took hold in the Ayyubids or the Mamluk Sultanate that followed, I'm going to assume that the Sarranids are not using the same feudal system as Swadia. So the Ayyubid Dynasty had a population of around 7 million in 1257. The Sarranid Sultanate has four towns, eight castles, and nineteen villages. These four towns (Shariz, Aherremad, Durquba, and Barriyye) correspond roughly to the four largest cities of the medieval Muslim word (Cairo, Aleppo, Damascus, and Baghdad). For the sake of Bariyye and simplicity I’m going to count Baghdad as a part of the

The only person who managed to kill anyone on the opposite side was Jon Snow with Longclaw, which to my surprise, could be picked up by me. Is there any way to permanently obtain it? I read somewhere that you could force prisoners to give you their Valyrian blade, but I'm unsure if that was in ACOK or AWoIaF. Submitted July 23, 2017 at 10:47AM by Trixremix http://ift.tt/2vzaGKT

Who the fuck names their son Yaroglek?

I mean names such as Sanjar Khan or Harlaus are normal, I would even say they're pretty cool. But how mentally retarded you need to be to name your kid Yaroglek? What are you, a fucking Klingon from star trek wtf Submitted July 23, 2017 at 08:15AM by quzken http://ift.tt/2vy67Ax

Regarding the use of Mount&Blade footage in ads

Hey everyone, a quick update from the mod team. As you may have seen, lately a lot of people are posting images of ads of a bunch of different mobile games (which I'm not going to name because they don't deserve attention) to the subreddit, because they use screenshots or trailers of Warband and/or Bannerlord. While this might be an interesting occurrence the first time, we are now getting multiple of these posts per day. These posts are not allowed to the subreddit , as the very first rule of /r/mountandblade says: All Posts Should be Relevant to Mount & Blade: We do not accept real-world pictures of items, content from other game titles , list/compilation videos, movie scenes, random songs, or anything else of that sort. So, if you see an ad with M&B footage, and you want to post it, please consider the following: At least 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8 others beat you to the punch lately. [awoiaf] How do you heal wounds when enlisted?

I'm trying to play through the awoiaf mod by enlisting in various armies but when I get KO-ed I gain a wound. Normally this isn't a problem but when I ask for leave I am told that soldiers don't get leave and my only options are (seemingly) A) Stay enlisted and after 5 days my wound becomes permanent. B) Retire from the army (lose my rank) and go heal from a maester. Then I would need to re-enlist as a peasant. Am I missing something here???? 2 completely different questions

Question 1) What are the best mods for this game? Im a big fan of GoT and LotR so any mods for them would be fantastic, along with maybe a more modern times mod? Question 2) A lot of the time in early game, I'll find myself being destroyed by forces 2 or 3 times largee than mine, is there a way to survive being outnumbered more often? Or a way to leave without it affecting honour? I dont like having to regain my whole army everytime just because of one unbalanced battle Submitted July 22, 2017 at 09:00PM by Jamietomp53 http://ift.tt/2tAmjEg

Declaring war on another kingdom

I have my own faction and want to declare war on another kingdom, I've started wars before as leader of my faction by just attacking another lord and doing it that way but, I've found you can declare war properly by sending an emissary, when I do this it says that by declaring war without provocation it might make my vassals think I'm to warlike. Do I have to worry about this or can I just start wars whenever I want? will it deteriorate my relationship with my vassals? Tiger Knight: Empire War, The Good Band-Aid Alternative To Mount and Blade 2 While We Wait.

I found a Mount and Blade-esque Free 2 Play game on Steam called Tiger Knight. I've been playing it for the past week and holy crap, it plays just like Mount and Blade but with a small AI army group of 20-36 soldiers under your command (12 player commanders per battle). And if any of you played Total War: Arena during its F2P beta period, its interface and troop upgrade/management mechanics play almost exactly like it. http://ift.tt/2pE53ah I was thinking that since we're going to be waiting for a while for MnB2 it'd be good to know that there are pretty good alternatives out there. The game is by a chinese developer and is surprisingly well balanced and fun. They have North American and European servers so don't worry about being stuck in an Asian server. Atm there are 4 factions. First the Romance of The Three Kingdoms factions (Dynasty Warriors) Wu, Shu, and Wei; and just recently added ROMANS and their Auxilliaries! Yes, they have the Roman Cohorts fighting the C

Bare Necessities - Calradic Campaign #19

Having recently reclaimed Almerra Castle, the Rhodoks are struggling to feed the villagers and the garrison, as most of the surrounding lands have been devastated by the war. This dire need for food has put a strain on the entire kingdom, and the risk of famine is becoming frighteningly real. /u/Lord_Kastor , ruler of the Rhodoks, sees a solution in the nearby Vaegir city of Dhirim. Following a luxurious period of peace, Dhirim’s stores are bountiful, with enough food to supply Almerra and all of Rhodokia until next harvest. If /u/Lord_Kastor is able to take Dhirim, a famine will be prevented, and a crisis averted. Failing to take the city will be fatal, however, as the Vaegirs will seize the momentum of a successful defence and take Almerra and (the sacred) Grunwalder Castle. And so the Vaegirs march from Dhirim, to confront the Rhodok force at the border. Spears are sharpened and whet stones spin, for the Rhodoks are going to war again. Confused? Married means nothing?

I'm about 460days in game I for first time created my new kingdom. To avoid war to swaide I married a count daughter. I'm friend of 3 counts and fairly good relation with the king. After the marriage. About 10 days later they declared war to me. Does married means nothing or I should not expect decent diplomacy out of Warband? Graphics..

Hey played on release and for a long time after, now I'm getting a bit hyped for bannerlord so thought I'd go and get a fix so re installed. Thought there would be a ton of graphical overhaul stuff in the workshop but bar a HD map (which is a bit meh) there's nowt I can find?! Am I missing something or was a HD texture/asset pack just never supported? Submitted July 22, 2017 at 02:11PM by PerfectLoops http://ift.tt/2tPU8MQ

[ASoIaF] - how do I grant fiefs to my vassal?

I can't seem to figure out how to grant fiefs to my already pre-existing vassals. I can only create new vassals, which is really annoying. Is there any way to grant fiefs? I've gone through the minister and exhausted all of his options, and nothing has helped me. Submitted July 22, 2017 at 11:58AM by Trixremix http://ift.tt/2eE3ysC

Advice on choosing a laptop for Bannerlord?

EDIT: I'm not a massive PC gamer so I'm only concerned with what can run BANNERLORD here, not other stuff. I'm a pretty big fan of Warband and was able to run it just fine on my absolute potato of a laptop (Not all that surprising for an old-ish game). In the lead up to bannerlord my laptop has started flagging majorly, so I will be purchasing a new laptop anyway in the next couple of months. As such, I thought I should try to get one that can run bannerlord well, so I really need advice on what processors/graphics cards/RAM/other stuff I should get. I can't spend any more than £800 GBP on the thing and I don't care what settings I run it on as long as they aren't comically low (no 20 man battle limits or anything). Bear in mind I'm a total computer noob so I have no idea whether the officially released minimum system requirements are what I need to even be able to open the app or an actual reasonable build to play it on. Hopefully I made this clear enough.

[Perisno] Why can't I use a horse in battle?

So I just started Perisno, and it isn't allowing me to use a horse in battle. I enlisted in a lords army and have a horse in the correct slot, but every time I start a battle I'm on foot, and can't add a horse through the inventory module. Any ideas? Bannerlord store tags

I was bored and decided to look up what store tags Bannerlord would have. So here is the list: Medieval Strategy Open World War RPG Sandbox Action Singleplayer Multiplayer Moddable Adventure Simulation Horses Character Customization Realistic First-Person Historical Third Person Great Soundtrack Co-op So since they included co-op in the tags is there a possibility for a co-op world? That would explain why they are taking so long with the finishing touches, meaning they are tweaking the co-op mode. Submitted July 22, 2017 at 05:53AM by okkeh96 http://ift.tt/2vKESlE

Fuck King Ragnar: How I have suffered under the Kingdom of the Nords

I saw a hopeful future when I became a Jarl. But I ended up carrying the kingdom on my back. The start of the problems: The Kingdom of Swadia had little property left. The Nords were rolling over them at incredible speed. Once I saw the remaining castles being almost ignored, I'd figure I take action. After conquering the castles by myself and not being mad about not being granted them, I reached the final castle. It was a tough nut to crack, because of course most of Swadia was either there or raiding villages. After multiple hard sieges, lost men, and general blood, sweat, and tears, you can imagine how FURIOUS I was to see that about a siege away from Swadia being wiped out, King Ragnar makes the decision to KEEP PEACE BETWEEN NORDS AND SWADIA. Now we are at war with the Sarranids.. more like I and the Khergits are. I can pay to buy the city of New York if I had a dollar every time I was invited to a feast while I was trying to conquer castles. No Jarl except me has been adv

[AWOIAF] What type of character do you play?

Personally I end up starting all my games as an Ironborn (I like the no morale loss benefit when sailing). I invest in an ironworks in Dragonstone and Castle black as soon as I have the funds and then sprinkle dyeworks or tanneries around the other cities depending on cost vs profit. As I am setting up my enterprises along the way I focus my attribute on ironflesh, power strike, power throw with a little sailing involved for more ships. I do not neglect leadership or other leader skills I just get to them as I can. (I consider those a second priority) Once established I purchase one or two Triremes and build a settlement on the Stepping Stones (Islands) in between Dorne and Essos until I have enough money for a nice cog ship that I use as my main/flag ship (oak is preferable although I never find oak ones.... maybe I am not lucky) Spend the rest of my time maintaining/upgrading my settlement, making alliances, and raiding other pirates as well as rival kingdom merchants. I pretty m

Dyeworks going kaput

In a diplomacy save a while back. I had about 4 dyeworks in the 4 sarranid towns. One week they all went from 200-400 coins per week to up to -1000 Any reason why this happened? And does it happen to many people? Submitted July 21, 2017 at 05:57PM by Weekzey http://ift.tt/2uj9mxa

What to do with dishonorable vassals?

Well my fledgling kingdom, built amid the ashes of the Rhodoks, is kinda-sorta doing alright. I've got well-defended borders, a decently strong economy, and a solid companion army with lots of high-tier cavalry. I'm honorable as all get out and am actually able to start converting foreign vassals to serve me instead. I've got a few honorable lords as my core, but a whole lot of dishonorable lords just hangin' around my court, stinking up the place with their directionless anger. I've already decided I only want honorable vassals, so what do I do with these guys? If I kick them out, they join my enemies and that might come back to bite me in the ass. If I imprison them afterwards so they can't fight back, I lose honor. Is this just a catch-22 where I'll be fighting immortal lords for the rest of time just to keep my honor high and my honorable vassals friendly? [Brytenwalda] Destructible siege towers?

So most castles don't require siege towers, but I found one that does, and what's even weirder, is that just before the siege tower reached the wall, I got a message saying "Belfry has been destroyed". Then the graphic of the siege tower seemed... weird. Almost glitchy? The ramp was gone and the wheels were detached from the body. Apparently belfries were a name used for old style siege towers. So... Siege towers are a thing and they're destructable? I ended up taking the castle by clashing with them outside of the wall in those events, outnumbering them by a lot, and then demanding their surrender when they were down to like 30 troops vs 900. What weapon types are poorly used by the AI?

Just curious if anyone has noticed any trends in AI competency with different weapon types. They seem to use Spears and other long-shaft weapons ineffectively by getting too close.
