Question : What makes this game Unique ?

Hi Colleagues, I am an indie game designer/developer. I am trying to understand what makes medieval games succeed or fail since there are many topics around but few of them are actually unique like M&B series. What do you think about the Warband, what actually makes you play ? ( Please do not answer "butterlord" or love of "butter" ) Thanks !

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
