So what's the point of alleys now that sneaking missions exist?

I just came back to the game after a year hiatus, and I'm thrilled they finally actually added mechanics rather than just doing endless bug and balance patches that somehow break every mod with every patch. I discovered the sneaking tutorial, and then found out that basically every stealth kill or every other stealth kill gives a level of roguery. (5 focus points) now I'm wondering what's the point of alleys anymore. They were never particularly good, but at least there was an argument to be made that they increased roguery. But now that I can just go farm hideout stealth missions, earn way more money, keep my companions in my party, and not gain crime in the process, I'm wondering what purpose alleys serve anymore? (Alley income should be ×10 imo) submitted by /u/forfor [link] [comments]

Why I feel like a " Early access" version is coming.

This is ment as a discussion since we literally have no information about this at all however, I still feel like some early test version is coming.

Here are a few reasons

  1. The game still probably has a bit of a way to go before it is completed and after seeing how fans reacted after E3 I think even Taleworlds are getting a bit nervous.

  2. Armağan said a early access demo would not be impossible. Now this alone does not really mean anything but in combination with the rest, it just might this time.

  3. The type of information they show. For a long while now we have only been shown clips and screenshots of combat. We saw a lot of combat at E3 along with some basic mechanics. Jump to Gamescom they are showing even more combat and today they release this video https://youtu.be/ditLixWjMTs showing us a detailed walkthrough of exactly how the new captain game mode works. Why would they basically do a tutorial almost and not just say "here is some gameplay and here are the features"?

  4. Multiplayer.. Or rather, lack of multiplayer. They are being asked about multiplayer all the time and they know they are not going to be able to do it. This ties into captain mode. This is easy for them to do. It is a cool multiplayer mode. The Most important part is that it could easily be released as a "early access" demo to really show the fans the combat. This way the kill two birds with one stone. They please fans who are upset due to the lack of a release date and they at least have some form of solid, fun multiplater action.

Conclusion: I think they will release the Captain mode they showed us as a Alpha or Beta test (term is arbitrary) they did something like this when warband was coming out so why not now?

What do you guys think? Am I being crazy here?

Mandatory apology for bad English. Sorry.

Edit: Added conclusion.
