Tactics to win any battle with aserai as southern empire

Make a elite cataphract force of 50 than charge them to their horse division. Elite cataphracts are superior in all ways. Then, charge the horses on to the pikeman and archers then charge the soldiers and arrows. Dont forget that these has to be mostly legionaries. I hope my tips help. submitted by /u/Visible_Tax7920 [link] [comments]

Thanks a lot

In this sub, I post a few things and I laugh at the memes. But I mostly stay here to stave off my suicidal thoughts. And it works (for the most part). I'm still here. And I'm happy to be here. I just wanted you guys, or anyone really, to know that. Happy New Year, butterlords. May your sieges be successful and may the fiefs be granted to you. The Lost Crown of Pendor

I wanted to share a little story from my Pendor play-through. I was on the verge of conquering the world of Pendor. My armies had already swept the Ravenstern, Fierdsvain and Sarleon Empires into the history books. The Order of Griffon Knights had been reestablished and my army was now entirely a royal guard of them. I suppose I got cocky, having 100 knights under my command. I rode straight into the Empire’s lands, intent on spearheading in while waiting for my lords to arrive for my campaign. I fell right into a 600 man ambush from a swarm of Empire lords. For some reason I dismounted my knights. I suppose I wanted to see how they would perform on the ground against an army of ragged Empire army remains. I watched my beautiful royal guard get swarmed over like ants to a crumb and consumed. They stole my crown after I fell in battle. Not my fully upgraded Mettenheim plate. Not my Spirited Noldor Steed. No, they took my irreplaceable crown. I was enraged, but I pressed on with my...

Keep forgetting to change equipment before sieges/battles?

Not sure if this is a feature for the core mechanics of warband but i am currently playing on floris and i was besieging Suno. I realised after the ladders were built that i still had my lance, shield and sword equipped when i had a crossbow and bolts in my inventory...specifically for when i lay siege to places. I thought to myself that im going to have sit back in this siege. Not wanting to let my men take all the glory i tried pressing the I key which is a shortcut to the inventory screen...i have over 1000 hrs on warband and i have just discovered that you can access your character screen, inventory and party in the menu where you begin battles. This also applies to city/castle/village menus, i hope this helps all of you in your future conquests Submitted December 31, 2018 at 06:52AM by IdaBagusRaiyanaMayun http://bit.ly/2CHkdFy

Can We Talk About the Bloodthirsty Unmanned Horses?

I've had it happen, you've had it happen. You're walking around on perhaps GK_TDM when suddenly an unmanned horse tramples you. It went out of it's way to follow you. People might try to say that it's their AI trying to find someplace to run to but I know the truth. These are carnivorous horses on the hunt. Once they get your scent they're on you like a missile. Kill all unmanned horses. For yourself and your comrades in arms, please. Submitted December 31, 2018 at 12:10AM by Lord_Eastwood http://bit.ly/2BSpNTX

Foreign Conquerer Challenge

It is said that the lands of Calradia are vast and rich in resources. It was once the home of a great empire, now, it has been reduced to a bunch of squabbling kingdoms. Anyone worthy would surely become exalted among men if they were to take up arms and restore the Calradian empire. So an intro to a challange campaign I've been thinking up. Essential the PC is a foreign born conquerer. Rules: 1. The first nation in which the PC spawns must be where their conquest begins. The PC cannot use faction specific troops unless they directly or through their own vassals control all of the faction specific cities and half of the faction castles. This is to simulate the transition of power and the dislike by the people for having a foreign ruler. This only applies to the first nation that is conquered, see rule 1. When invading a different faction, the PC cannot recruit that faction's troops until they control approximately 50% of the kingdom. Simulating the divide between loyal...

Why so much love for Harlaus?

Everyday you mention the swadian king but nevermind the fact that there's a Yaroglek, Graveth or Hakim. No love for the other rulers, who battle daily and are way cooler. The amount of butter in this sub is absurd, the word spured around like a cowherd. The true and only ruler Ragnar calls me now, there's another swadian village to pillage and reap anyhow. Warband Matchmaking

About Warband Matchmaking Warband Matchmaking is a system developed which allows a style of practice that resembles the format which players experience in tournament matches. It is very easy for new players to pick up and only requires basic understanding of the game Mount&Blade: Warband before jumping into a realm of the competitive side of the game. Warband matchmaking allows users to track basic statistical information such as Kills, Deaths, Wins, Losses and MMR which is a value that determines the skill level of each player. Currently in order to practice for tournaments, players usually resort to public battle servers which does not in any way resemble an actual competitive match. Now players that are willing to sharpen their skills in preparation for big tournaments or just gain experience on the battle field can do so at any time using Warband Matchmaking rather than being restricted to arrange a private scrim or play on a public battle server. Do lords recruit troops from conquered factions?

So far in my play through, the Nords are 1 castle away from completely wiping the Swadians from the map. Once our war is over, are lords able to then recruit Swadian volunteers from the originally Swadian held villages, or is that more a player-based thing? Just Deserts - Calradic Campaign #36

The steppes of the Khergits have always had a cruel beauty to them. Men of the Khanate are hailed as legendary fighters. Practically one entity bound together with their mount, the spirit of the horse lords is indomitable. The intense physical aspect of their culture requires strict attunement with the spiritual plane itself. To the nomads of the east, mental dominance over one's enemy is just as important as physical prowess. Three riders left from Asugan a fortnight ago, following rumors of a sacred artifact found in the deserts north of Bariyye, city of the Sarranid Sultanate. It was a risky endeavor, but the prize outweighed any of the men's skepticism: A pristine set of horse armor dating back to the days of the Southern Calradic Empire. Such an important relic would be sure to rally the Noyans together for many battles and raids to come. Fate had not been kind to the would be archaeologists, as it seems that the Sultanate had already been searching for the same treas...

The institution of slavery is moral and just, especially since I exploited it to become rich and influential. Now I've written a guide so you can too!

My guide contains some good tips on exploiting legal and moral loop holes to make crap tons of money by selling the lives of those unfortunate enough to meet your mace with their face. Remember Butterlords; it's not evil to exploit the peasantry - their entire purpose is to serve the elite such as you! Slavery: Fun and Profit I made this guide because I couldn't for the life of me find a comprehensive list of troops that have blunt weapons, so I made one myself. Think I'm an amateur at hiring free labor? Leave anything you think I missed in the comments and I'll add it. Submitted December 29, 2018 at 01:01AM by 2tb-of-yiff http://bit.ly/2CGoV6t

My friends, I like Mount and Blade.

My friends, it has often been said that I like Warband. No, friends, I LOVE Warband. I love cutting down bandits. I love flanking maneuvers. I love sieges, I love charges, I love mopping up the enemy as I ride down fleeing enemies with my cavalry. Battles across prairies, in streets, in grasslands, in frozen tundras, through deserts, on mountains, in rivers, I love every act of war that can occur upon this land. I love tearing the enemy to smithereens with Archer and crossbow volleys that block out the sun before they can even REACH my infantry wall. My heart LEAPS with JOY when an enemy is impaled on my cavalry's Lance. And there is NOTHING like watching as my knights cut down the enemy with a Heavy Bastard Sword. And the SCREAMING that comes from a cavalry man as he tries to crawl out from under his slain horse only to to chopped to bits by a wrathful Infantryman. It is such a moving feeling to watch swordsmen bravely charge into the enemy knowing they will surely die be...

The AI in M&B: Warband is flawless

So imagine being a knight in a prestigeous order; your trainers were the best in the known world and your armor the finest money can buy. Some day your grandmaster asks you and a dozen or so of your mates to hunt down some random merchant-warlord who he really hates for some unknown reason. So you ready up and start hunting the guy. He has a very funny face, a big nose and he calls himself 'Benjamin von Schekelberg'. You get lucky, as he has just fought in several very bloody battles with the muzzies. Almost everyone in his army, including him and his only doctor, has been severely injured. The guy can barely ride a horse now and his army is in ruins. The only people still able to fight are some farmers and peasant women with room tempature iq, everyone else is either dead or severely injured. His allies aren't willing to help him fight you. So you catch the guy and you ride to battle with your glorious horses and shining armor. The guy does the same, alone, for some reaso...

Capturing X enemies of a certain type is an awful quest

I can't tell my soldiers to try to take a particular type of soldier alive -- only all or nothing. If I tell them to just use blunt, then my troops are at an extreme disadvantage. If I don't, then it's a crapshoot. Ignoring that, it's a separate, crappier crapshoot to see if I can even find an enemy army I can take on, and when I find one, I need to hope it has the rank and kind that I need. But the most infuriating thing is when I am sent to capture spearmen and trained spearmen won't do. Apparently knowing which end of the stick to poke into the enemy makes them too good to trade away. Damn I wish I could just hand over any kind of troop. Or maybe I could just buy that troop from a ransom broker. Above all, it pisses me off that I lose face for declining this type of quest in the first place. I can't tell my king, "with respect, I am a soldier, not a manhunter" or "fetch quests can burn in hell." Submitted December 28, 2018 at 01:...

Thoughts on the Warsword Conquest mod?

I have ~75ish hours into by now before its 2018 update and after combined and have been enjoying it greatly. However I haven’t seen very much discussion or attention directed toward it in this sub and I was just looking to see what everyone thought about this great mod. I am also possibly thinking about writing a casual review for this mod and posting it to this sub, so any opinions would be much appreciated and I might incorporate them into my possible review if you guys would like. Am I weird for getting emotional?

I just mount and warband, btw love the game.Ok so I made a warband and I got most of the named characters. Besides Borcha and Rolf and Alayen. My faction and I are at war with the rhodoks and I run into literally the only army that has more quality men then I do. King Graveth. It was a massacre. I pulled back so many times but in the end I was captured. When I escaped I found out I only had Firentis and nizar. I was a little sad because I thought they were gone forever. Until 2 weeks later. I go into a tavern in Praven, I was looking for a ransom broker. I look around only to find a book merchant. And fucking Matheld. I was so happy I went up to her and recruited her back on the spot. And so I went on a little crusade to get back all the friends I lost. All while being extremely happy during the whole thing. So am I weird for being so happy? The Legend of Akadan Noyan

About a minth.ago, I started a game as a noble in Swadia. They were at war with everyones favourite horse boi Sanjar Kahgan; I attack Khergit peasants, Harlaus gives me a Fief, the usual. However, of all the Kerghit characters I defeated, Akadan Noyan always escaped. Even after the fall of the Khergits, and after Sanjar himself fled Calradia, Akadan Noyan aimlessly roamed the steppe for months. Eventually I found him, knocked him out, he escaped, and joined the Sultanate. Butter Boi Harlaus wipes the Sultanate off the map, Akadan joins the Rhodoks. After we beat THEM, he joins the Vaegirs. I encountered him many times throuought his journey, and he always escaped. After years of war, Calradia was united by Swadia, and Akadan, having been a part of ALL factions at this point(other than Swadia, obviously), finally escaped Calradia. What an absolute madlad Submitted December 25, 2018 at 08:11PM by tedtheruski http://bit.ly/2CyTYkA

Lord Turya is a Nord Lord with a relation of 100 with me. He has Tihr, three castles, and three villages. Sounds great, right? In some ways it is. I have 300 good-quality Nord soldiers with me whenever I raise the alarm for war. I have much of the Nord coast secure and I know it's not going away anytime soon. Lord Turya really is a nice guy, but he's too nice. He holds feasts ALL THE TIME. All the lords come to his feasts and they enjoy themselves and they form relationships with the friendly host of these gigantic feasts. He has a great relationship with me and he has a great relationship with everyone else. He is a powerful, good man who is loyal to his queen and country. Because everyone likes him so much, half of the time my vassals want more fiefs bestowed on him. He is deserving of these fiefs, they say. But I don't want him to soak up all this new territory. I'm really confused about the ranking on the sidebar. IMO Viking Conquest is #1 with diplomacy and no other alterations coming in at #2 (it makes the game far less tedious). How to win late game? (Warband)

So, I'm in the late game, have a few cities and castles with 300+ elite units in each and have pretty muchthe best armour and weaponry in the game. But I can't take all these cities on my own. My own faction does effectively nothing in taking cities and it's all up to me. So I can hold about 130 men in my party so about 100 archers, although generally it's more like 80 to not take a full party, and then all the fiefs have 200+ men in them. So it takes ages to take them. And even when I do take one, the entire enemy armies come and take it back because my faction does nothing, and then it's a game of keep taking the castle and hoping that at the end of the war we keep it, although the enemy just keeps taking more of our land cause they can. Any advice? Or should I just stop? Hardest difficulty btw. Submitted December 23, 2018 at 09:45AM by Dead_Benjamin http://bit.ly/2V4S16C

In native: What annoys you the most?

In the vanilla version, what game trait is the most annoying and unrealistic? For me, it's the fact how easily your troops lose moral. Like if I'm not fighting every minute, my troops quickly leave my party. It's just not realistic. Especially when I have my inventory full of food. If you were a soldier fighting for an elite army, with food, would you just desert your party because you haven't battled anyone in a couple of weeks? Butter me up, Harlaus?

I'm brand new to this community and have been enjoying it quite a bit. My experience with Harlaus in the twenty to thirty hours I've put into it is limited to: - Parking my army outside of Praven - Him stepping up with almost three times my number in troops. - Taking him prisoner and eventually ransoming him off. I'd love to know where Butterlord comes from and what to make of what appear to be jokes at Harlaus' expense. Is he secretly Ghandi prepping for nuclear warfare over Calradia, or is he just a goober; 'cuz frankly I struggle to take a commander like him seriously ever since he tried and failed to chase me from Ryibelti to Sargoth before turning around and getting slapped by Godking Ragnar. Any mod that focus on melee combat (and help me git gud)?

I love the melee combat in this game, and it's the main reason i got into it. In fact I spent 50 hours on the demo version just fighting with the trainers before I moved on and got the actual game. I have enjoyed mounted combat (best compared to other games) and archery but ultimately I crave the melee experience. I am a relative newbie with ~700 hours play time across multiple mods. I favor two handed weapons as shield blocking is boring with no skill and also shields break but weapons don't. My current skill level: I can cheese my way through arena and beat all the opponents after reaching level 2-3 when i am not performing poorly. I can reliably manual block 1 on 1 most times and i can chamber every now and then. I charge into most battles with a two hand sword/axe/polearm My question is: I know there are some mods that add npcs with clever AI and high skills. But some of them are like bosses that you only get to fight occasionally, or npcs that wear strong armor that ...

What formations would everyone like to see?

Besides the obvious like shield walls, wedge cavalry, what formations would you guys like to see? I think it could be cool to let players design their own formations. Designing your own formations could be as simple as making shapes with the units you have and being able to hotkey them. To be frank I'm worried about giving taleworlds any new ideas as it would be nice to just have the completed game but I couldn't help but think this could be an awesome addition and really make it feel as if you are directing your army. Control groups would also be nice, so for example you could assign a personal bodyguard with your companions/elite troops to follow you so you don't get isolated on the battle field. What are your thoughts on the above? Lord Personalities are not equally distributed in a faction

4 types: Honorable (subtypes: Good-Natured and Upstanding) Martial Circumstantial (Cunning and Self-Righteous/Pitiless) Dishonorable (Bad-Tempered/Quarrelsome and Debauched/Sadistic). Most people and the wiki say they're distributed 5-5-5-5. They're not. My game, Swadian lords: 8 dishonorable, 2 circumstantial, 5 martial, 3 honorable (2 unknown yet). If these 2 are honorable or martial, turns out it is a 10-10 distribution, with honorable and martial lords in one group, and circumstantial and dishonorable in group 2. I really felt something was off in my game until I realized there were 8 dishonorables instead of just 5. Also, subtypes are completely random. Of 8 dishonorables, 7 were 'better wolf than lamb' types, only 1 was the 'they're all bastrds' type (Haringoth obviously, he is like that every game). I also felt this difference, since these 7 guys never sieged a castle in their life, while Haringoth was killing, pillaging and conquering left and ...

[PoP] The new barclay arquebusier is the funniest troop I've ever used

Since 3.9.3 guns can be reloaded while moving. Thought they would be a fun siege offense unit. Before I knew it I got 85 arquebusiers. Every battle is now a fucking firing squad against ww2 PoWs. 10 enemy deaths within 0.02 secs of the start of a battle. Fall all the way back to the edge of the map and still keep killing siege defenders. Non-stop pew pew paw. You see people drop dead with zero indication like they are being murdered by the force. My Country

The love of gaudy graphics Of on-rails plotted games. Of re-hashed shooters plenty Is running in your veins, Strong love of small transactions, And 'early-access' lies, I know but cannot bear it, My love is otherwise. I love a wartorn country, A land of stirrups and reins, Of ragged mountain bandits, Of plots and courtly games. I love her harvest seasons, Her skulls filled up with mead, Couched lance and shouldered crossbow, Calradia's for me. In AD 2012 they said 'young men, lend us your ears, a new adventure's coming, set back 200 years'. Now 6 of them have passed us One more is coming near, And seeping anguish grips me Where once there bubbled cheer. So forth I go in sorrow now, To start a game anew, The dead eyes of my character Stare from the face menu. The feeling that I have right now Is different from back then, Clutching to that desperate hope: 'it's not "if" lads, but "when"'. Submitted December 19, 2018 at 11:03...

The dumbest thing y’all have ever done in game?

Just as the question says, what’s the dumbest thing y’all have ever done in game? Either accidentally or for fun. I think for me the dumbest thing I ever did for the heck of it was I gathered an army of farmers and peasant women (about 100 or so), dressed up myself and my companions as farmers and peasant women, and besieged Sargoth. Obviously it did not go so well, but it was good fun. I did the same with Looters once too which took A LOT longer. Submitted December 19, 2018 at 02:28PM by thekekkles https://ift.tt/2LrXBf1

I've put 93 hours into this game, 700 ingame days over two campaigns, and I have made no progress whatsoever

The result is that I'm not having a lot of fun right now. I have 70 men, about as many companions as I can manage, I spent an ingame year fighting for Ragnar and really just made a bunch of money which doesn't seem very useful anymore. I gave up and just tried to force the next part of the game: pushing the "Bastard" of Vaegir's claims. The Vaegirs have three castles, all extremely spread out, but still have substantial armies. I am unsure how to proceed, but I also realize I've got nearly 1/4 the amount of time I put into Skyrim (on PC) logged in this game already (assuming normal percentages of idle time for both), so I'm just wondering if its even worth continuing. I am not running full Hussars because that seemed to be the cheesy optimal strategy, though with the amount of savescumming I've resorted to I only "lose" (and then go back and pretend I never attempted) sieges right now. Should I just keep farming renown for another 30 hours?...

What are some good mods for Viking Conquest?

Just finished binging The Last Kingdom ( amazing show, highly recommended) and it sparked my interest in Vikings vs Saxons. So I’m about to start a VC campaign. I’ve never played the DLC before, but I am fairly experienced in Native and other mods. Are there any good mods for this DLC that doesnt overhaul it? I’m looking for QoL, graphic polishing mods. Also, any advice for a new game? I’m role playing as a Pagan warlord. Submitted December 18, 2018 at 12:43PM by RektFeminists https://ift.tt/2QBZ4Fb

Almost every enterprise in all towns give negative profit. I’m on my 50th day and only have a couple breweries since those are the only things that are profitable. Why is that? Or is my game just weird? Submitted December 18, 2018 at 01:22PM by jeffthetree https://ift.tt/2A4f5cT

Best mods for a vanilla player?

Hey guys, its my first post here but I thought this would be the best community to post to. I've finally got some free time and want to do a play through, however this time i'm wanting to add mods into my game. I'm pretty vanilla and like having a pretty base game in most cases so im not very experienced with modding and setting up "the perfect game" would take me far too long. Im mostly interested in texture mods, mods that make the game more fluent (e.g. cows follow instead of run) and mods that compliment the vanilla game well without adding thousands of new features. Has anyone any idea for ones I should look into? Also i've been interested into a GoT mod, however I see there is a few available, which one would you consider best? Thanks in advance :) Submitted December 18, 2018 at 12:52PM by dzeil https://ift.tt/2QEYFBZ

[Silverstag] Archers aiming too low and never hitting target

I recently started playing M&B again and downloaded the Silverstag mod. It had been updated since I first tried it a year or two back, and after a while I noticed that most of my archers aim WAY too low rendering them useless in ranged battle. Some of the higher tier archers still manage to aim better and get a few kills mid-long range, but the rest can't hit anything unless it stand literally in front of them. Is this supposed to be a feature or bug? Submitted December 18, 2018 at 11:11AM by Doubtindoh https://ift.tt/2S9hSIy

SURVEY: Help me help gaming studios make better games

Hey, The research department of the company I work with are helping gaming studios get a better grip on what players want form strategy games. They're looking for Mount & Blade players and others. If you have a few minutes then it would be great if you can help us by checking the boxes and writing some answers in this form: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WeWantToMakeGamesBetter The company is called POST. One of the things we do is helping different companies with research and analysis, which the game dev studios we work with really appreciate because they tell us the people who play their games cares ALOT about what they produce. Is that true? Thanks Submitted December 18, 2018 at 04:53AM by juicemanehugo https://ift.tt/2rRJ03z

Waiting for Warband end-battle TAB takes too long!!!!

Hey All, Not sure if this is an issue or is fixed somewhere, but I noticed at the end of every battle in vanilla Warband you have to wait about 4 seconds before the tab prompt comes up to end the battle. And since playing VC and getting back into M&B again, I just cant deal with the fact that you can't just instantly tab and end the battle once the enemy is defeated or retreating. It have become a major pain. Thanks for taking the time to read/answer. Submitted December 17, 2018 at 07:29PM by Spnoic https://ift.tt/2GmGcW7

Bannerlord character development suggestion

It would be good if they made it so that the character develops physical (str/agi) and mental (int/cha) skills separately, from different point pools. So the player would f.e. get 1 point to spent on physical, and one on mental skills. That would be a bit more sensible. It would also be more fun. One of the things I disliked in Warband is you can either make a strong warrior character with utterly shit utility, or make a utility character who has to sit in the background while the army does most of the fighting. So instead of having to choose warrior/utility the player would choose what kind of warrior(strong warrior, agile archer), and what kind of utility they want (intelligence-based with tactics, medical skills and so on or charisma based with high leadership, persuasion etc.) and get to play both in the same playthrough. Submitted December 17, 2018 at 12:27PM by DiscombobulatedLoc https://ift.tt/2PJCyVM

THE LINK: Metacritic - Mount & Blade Warband - Negative User Reviews As I was about to finally write a review for MB Warband on Steam, out of curiosity I wanted to read the negative reviews of the game to see what led them to think that MB Warband is a bad game. Reading these comments was just such a cringy experience that I wanted to share it with you all. ''Awful combat, awful quests...graphics not too bad but not worth the money. If you think about it, this entire sub has gone completely mental.

Just imagine what this would all look like without the internet medium between us. First, one guy shows everyone a picture, then everybody else begins laughing and parroting phrases back and forth. Everybody in a room, just repeating shit over and over, "It's almost Harvesting Season!" "Bannerlord when!" "That's a nice head you have on your shoulders! Then someone takes the picture, and draws something else on top of it: usually something we can all recognize from before. And everybody laughs and parrots the same phrase again, "O shit waddup" "Butter!" "Me too thanks!" If you imagine it, it looks like we're all in an insane asylum. In fact, that's really all we do here: just drive each other insane. We keep repeating the same shit over and over until one person finally snaps, and everybody agrees and moves onto something else. Then the whole fucking cycle repeats itself. We're all stuck in the Loony Bin and nob...

Just lost my Army

Im 70 days in, joined the kingdom of nords as an vassal, then King Ragnar decides to wage war against Swadia, I get the task to join all the other jarls in besieging Dhirim, then Ragnar gives me the task to capture a swadian lord, I ride out with 80 men and fight against 3 different lords, beat them all but capture none. Defeated with 49 men left I ride back to Dhirim and tell Ragnar I failed, he isnt happy, then we attack Dhirim, I lose all of my men in the progress but we manage to capture the town. 11/10, no ragrets. First play through trying to get involved in court politics. Had my first assassination attempt today.

I typically just play through as a merchant: buying low, selling high and bashing bandits to blow off steam. But this play through I started as a son of a noble to try out the court relationship mechanics. I thought it was going ok until getting jumped in a tavern by an assassin. I joined up with Sarranid Sultanate, get my poor little village and think I'm ready to go. Big mistake. No affordable food so I've got to trade in dyes, pottery, and dates so I can sell them in other regions to keep my troops fed and afford my army. So I still have to spend a chunk of time as a merchant. I figured I could get some good allies by marrying right, so I started courting the ladies of the realm. Things were going well with Lady Sur. I read her all my poems, visited her every time she asks. I start sucking up to her brother Emir Quryas. When he stops giving me tasks, I follow him around when we're at war to save him when he gets into fights. Our relationship gets up around 14, s...

Real talk

It's been said before and I know I'm at risk of sounding like a punk just for sayin it, but I'm goin to say it anyway. Pendor's D'Shar are soooo overpowered. All their base units are fairly decent compared to the other factions. They have several lords who wander around with quite a few Scorpion Assassins/Windriders (lookin at you Caliph Bahman you fuck). Even with a leslie & ansen surgery duo they kill atleast half the guys they take out of the battle. I'm not saying they're unbeatable but goddamn are they annoying. My favorite location to found a kingdom

Jelbegi Castle. Start with cavalry and wipe out Nords who get ruined on flat terrain and help Swadia where you can. Then train up a bunch of Huscarls or Rhodok Crossbowmen and take the castle. I made sure to help Jelbegi village a ton first. You are now located on the border of two kingdoms with a good relationship with Swadia. Train tons of knights and (i play on 96% difficulty) you can easily 60 vs 400 when its knights vs Nord armies in the field. If you can make peace with Nords, do so, and use your Huscarls to take Swadian lands. You can now take a corner of the map and extend towards Vaegirs or Rhodoks for your prefered range unit. Attack Nords in the field, defend against Swadians at your keeps Submitted December 13, 2018 at 11:59AM by Turaken https://ift.tt/2CbrdKC

Managing vassals

I picked a family i wanted as vassals and married one of their daughters, but even among themselves, they get butthurt when i give out fiefs. Currently I have Gerlad, Reamald, Dirigun and Surdun, but they don't all like each other. I have very high relations with each one, but should i worry? I want to have 5-6 vassals, but i couldn't get Olaf, who was banished out of Calradia and Knudarr is tight with Ragnar and i cant even try to convince him to join me. Any mod that lets me sort inventory?

I would love to be able to sort my inventory by value. Or by type. Or by weight. Or ANYTHING. I've been playing for years - am I just missing a button for this, or what? If it takes them 15 years to build Bannerlord, and the only thing they add is inventory and troop sorting, it'd be worth it. I understand now why this is the greatest game ever made

I truly understand now the depth of this amazing game. My eyes are finally open . I feel revigorated, with a library full of games, that represented nothing to me, now I come home to play Warband until sunrise every single day . I give it no rest. I give myself no rest over it. I'm addicted. Obsessed. And I'm not even autistic. In every playthrough of Warband, I always ended up cheating for the sake of conveniency. I never felt it was too hard but the option was always on , never gave much thought. It was fairly easy to just spam the fuck out of CTRL-X whenever I needed some money or I wanted to have swadian knights instantly. "Oh shit, Harlaus is calling me to his crib", so I just teleported instantly to Praven for another feast of debauchery and pleasure in that city of sin. I did the same thing with battles. Whenever my body laid on the ground, motionless and unconscious or my troops where getting slaughtered, with one command I would knock out everyone and re...
