Disappointed Diplomacy

Just got back into the game agter the war sails expansion. And I am disappointed at the shallow level of fiplomacy still in the game. So many aded features and yet they could not add a truce mechanic...or even a way to influence nobles to change policy. Furthermore the changes they made are banal and redundant.. Explain to me why my "ALLY" Just deckared war on me after i PAID them 500k money to attack another faction. Keep in mind this was with 72 days remaining on the alliance. Viking conquest in bannerlord

guys imagine this and please no bannerlord when jokes...viking conquest for bannerlord. bannerlord takes place 200 years before warband,now picture viking conquest for bannerlord almost 200 years after viking conquest during the two last norman-ivasion . that would be crazy fighting with sveyn forkbeard and his son cnut the great or a couple years later standing along side william the bastard and harald hadrada to take over saxon england or joining up with king harald godwinson to stop the ivasion from ever happening

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
