[AWOIAF] Village relation dropping for all villages

So I really am enjoying AWOIAF, but I’ve noticed my relationship with villages has been dropping for every village on the map, even ones I’ve never visited.

I don’t loot villages so I’m a little surprised how this could happen. Is there a way to fix this/can someone tell me why this is happening or how to fix it? It sucks that I can’t recruit people from villages any more.
