And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]
So, my favorite unit appears to be the imperial horse archers (I cannot remember their name while at work.)
I like the mounted unit, makes it easy for me to have them follow me into good flanks while my infantry hit the enemy.
But I am lacking a true melee cavalry unit. And I’d prefer one that has range capabilities. Wondering if anyone has suggestions for their favorite units they use? I’d love to know of an easily replaceable mounted unit with range/melee capabilities.
Mounted archers are just OP IMO and I want to take this to the next level. :)
